The league leaders are back in action this Saturday when Yokohama F. Marinos heads to the Edion Stadium Hiroshima to meet with Sanfrecce Hiroshima in the J1 League with the away side eyeing up a spot in the top two.
Sanfrecce come into this game having lost a game in the J. League Cup on matchday six which keeps the club in second in Group C with three wins and three losses, 12 goals scored and seven let in from the cup.
Prior to this, the club were beaten by Kawasaki in the J. League after a 1-0 defeat away from home.
They did, however, hammer FC Tokushima 5-0 in the Emperor's Cup before that loss after a goal each from Shuto Nakono Taishi Matsumoto, Nassim Ben Khalifa, Tsukasa Morishima and Hiroya Matsumoto.
Sanfrecce's last win in the league came in a 3-1 victory over Kyoto Sanga where Yusuku Chajima scored a brace before a finish in the final few seconds from Takumu Kawamura.
Sanfrecce lost to Urawa Reds before that, but within their past six weeks, they have also defeated Shonan Bellmare after previously losing three in a row to Vissel Kobe, Nagoya and Yokohama.
As for Yokohama, they remain top of the league table in Japan and are heading into this one off the back of a fantastic winning run that sees them as the most in-form side in the J. League.
Outside of their excellent league form, Marinos also beat Sagan Tosu 6-1 in the J. League Cup, although Katsua Nagato was sent off that day after goals from Ryo Miyachi, Kaina Yoshio, Asahi Uenaka and Takuma Nishimura.
Yokohama also sits above Nagoya in top spot by just one point after winning one more game (11) and losing just three games.
The club has managed to beat Kashiwa Reysol, FC Tokyo and Avispa Fukuoka in the past few games in the league.
In fact, their last defeat in the league came to Niigata back at the start of May, but this was their only loss in the past 11 games since losing to Cerezo Osaka.
Quite incredibly, Yokohama have gone on to score more than 25 goals since that loss.
These two did meet back in March in a 1-1 draw that saw Shunki Higashi score after four minutes for Sanfrecce.
Anderson Lopes also bagged after 19 minutes before a sending off for Katsuya Nagato.
Forebet predicts a win for Yokohama this time and over 2.5 goals.
