11th and 14th are set to clash in the Egypt Cup this weekend with Tala'ea El Gaish opening their doors at the Military Academy Stadium to National Bank of Egypt where just three points separate the two sides ahead of this Friday’s battle.

This game sees a break from the Egyptian Premier League for a battle in the round of 16 of the Egypt Cup where National Bank have been one of the highest-scoring sides.

The club may be 11th in the league, but they defeated ENPPI 3-1 on penalties after a 4-4 draw last year. In the round of 32, they also went on to defeat Shoban Qena 3-2.

Elsewhere in cup competitions, National Bank was beaten on penalties by Ceramica Cleopatra 4-3 after a 2-2 draw at home in the quarter-finals of the EFA Cup.

The club did, however, ease past Zamalek in the round of 16 of that competition.

Despite that win over them, National Bank would go on to lose to Zamalek just one week later and they have since gone unbeaten in the league since that early April loss to Zamalek.

Recently, the club drew with Al Ittihad after defeating El Dakhleya 3-1, Aswan 2-1 and Ismaily 2-0.

They've also drawn with Al Masry and Al Mokawloon in the past six weeks and defeated El Gaish and Haras El Hodoud which now means an unbeaten run in 90 minutes of 10 games.

In the league, we are heading to the end of the campaign and National Bank are sitting 11th in the table with eight wins and 12 losses so far.

In fact, it's very doubtful we will see them break into the top five, but in current form, they are just eight points adrift of Al Mokawloon.

Tala'ea El Gaish are heading into this one having put together a two-game winning run after a 1-0 victory over Ismaily thanks to a finish in the second half from Ahmed Samir.

The club also defeated Smouha 2-0 with a goal in the first half from Khaled Stouhi and another from Mahmoud Wadi in the second 45.

El Gaish's last loss was also to Zamalek, but unlike National Bank, they went on to ease past El Sharkia in their round of 32 game.

On the other hand, National Bank did beat them 2-0 after an own goal from Stouhi and a finish from Osama Faisal.

Forebet predicts a win for National Bank and for the game to see under 2.5 goals.
