Ghana and Madagascar are set to meet in another Africa Cup of Nations qualifier this weekend with top set to take on bottom in Group E as the Black Stars look to take a giant leap towards qualification.

Ghana are currently top of the table with two wins and two draws from an unbeaten start to life in Group E.

This has seen them draw 1-1 with Angola in the last set of international fixtures after beating them 1-0 at home.

Ghana have also managed to draw with Central African Republic in this six-game group after also defeating Madagascar in the previous game.

Mohammod Kudus, Felix Afena-Gyan and Osman Bukari all scored a goal each that day.

As for Madagascar, they were beaten twice by Central African Republic in recent games after a 3-0 loss at home to them before a 2-0 defeat on the road.

Elsewhere, Madagascar drew 1-1 with Angola although they did manage to beat Ghana in the African Nations Championship earlier in the year when they met in a group match.

Solomampionona Razafindranaivo scored after 10 minutes that day before Tokinantenaina Randriatsiferana scored the winning goal. Augustine Agyapong also scored for Ghana that day.

Benjamin Tetteh of Hull City has not been call-up up here with Felix Afena-Gyan and Abdul Fatawu Issahaku also not in action for Ghana.

Jeffrey Schlupp of Crystal Palace has also missed out on a call nup, while Daniel-Kofi Kyereh of Freiburg is also out of action here.

Baba Rahman won't get his 52nd cap, and Jonathan Mensah also missed out on call-up.

All attention in this one will now turn to Jordan Ayew and Andrew Ayew with the two brothers securing 41 goals for their country from 202 caps.

Thomas Partey will also start the game after an excellent season with Arsenal, as Mohammed Kudus gets another starting spot.

Njiva Rakotoharimalala is the main man for Madagascar with his 12 goals in 47 games and there are just three forwards in the squad for the country this time around. In truth, it’s tough to see where the goals come from for Madagascar.

It could have been a relatively comfortable game for Ghana this time around as Madagascar continue to struggle to fight for even a handful of points in this group.

However, recent form has cast a doubt over this and Forebet now predicts a draw and for the game to see under 2.5 goals.
