Nigeria Expected to Ease to a Win Against Sierra Leone
2593

Nigeria will head to Sierra Leone this weekend with the Super Eagles coming into this one narrowly behind Guinea-Bissau in the fight for top spot in Group A as Sierra Leone continue to put up a good fight.

Nigeria have so far scored 13 times and let in just two goals and won three games so far.

Their only dropped points came in a loss to Guinea-Bissau back in March, beating everyone else in the process.

Sierra Leone have won just one game so far, lost one and drawn two after snatching a point off the group leaders but losing to Nigeria in the return fixture between these two.

The absence of Queens Park Rangers' Osman Kakay likely brings Mohamed Kamara between the posts once more, as John Kamara is also out of action in the battle for the number one spot for Sierra Leone.

Sullay Kaikai of MK Dons is another big miss for the club, as Moses Turay is also not in the squad this time around.

Former Liverpool man Steven Caulker switched allegiance from England to Sierra Leone last year and he will captain the side once more and play out his 13th cap for them.

Kamil Conteh is another man based in England, as he plays for Gateshead and should play out his ninth cap. Alhaji Kamara of Randers is the highest scorer in the squad with five goals in 12 caps.

All attention in this one falls on the shoulders of Victor Osimhen as he looks to get his 16th goal in just his 25th cap for Nigeria.

The Napoli superstar has by far the best goals to game ratio in the country's history and is well on his way to being their all-time leading scorer already.

Osimhen bagged 26 goals in Serie A this year as Napoli won the title, making him the first and only African to win the Capocannoniere.

Kelechi Iheanacho has 12 goals in 46 caps for Nigeria and he should also play here with Ademola Lookman coming into this squad off the back of a great season in Serie A as well with Atalanta.

Alex Iwobi, William Troost-Ekong, Wilfred Ndidi and Semi Ajayi make up an impressive squad for Nigeria.

Forebet predicts a win for Nigeria once more in this game and for the match to see over 2.5 goals with the likes of Osimhen keen to keep on scoring.
