Marseille set for final day of the season win over Ajaccio

Marseille will finish the Ligue 1 season in third place, and OM have qualified for the playoff rounds of the Champions League for next season.
Igor Tudor has done well with the club this season and is aiming for a final day of the season win over already relegated Ajaccio.
Ajaccio go into the final matchday in 19th place. The Bears were relegated with a few matches left to play. Just 23 points were taken from Ajaccio’s 37 matches.
The Bears are on a three-match losing streak ahead of Marseille’s visit on Saturday. Marseille aren’t in much better form going into the game. OM lost their last two fixtures in Ligue 1.

Marseille picked up nine points, scoring 10 times and conceding nine goals. OM are Ligue 1’s second-best away team, with 39 points. The team has a +17-goal difference on the road.
Manager Olivier Pantaloni has no fresh injury problems at Ajaccio. Pantaloni does have one player absent due to a suspension, however. Defender Mickael Alphonse is ruled out due to a suspension.
Tudor also goes into the game with key players suspended. He will be without the services of Payet and Valentin Rongier. Meanwhile, Samuel Gigot will likely miss the game following a concussion.
Alexis Sanchez has been brilliant for Marseille this season. He has a new lease on life after joining Olympique from Internazionale. Sanchez leads the team with 14 Ligue 1 goals. No other Marseille player has more than six league goals.
Marseille fell 2-1 to Ajaccio earlier in the season. OM should get a win against Ajaccio this time around. Ajaccio are headed for relegation, and they are playing like a beaten team.
