Arsenal Expected to End the Season in the Win Column by Beating Wolves
4175

Arsenal are aiming to finish their season on a high having forfeited the Premier League title to Manchester City last weekend as the Gunners come into this match with a home game against Wolverhampton Wanderers to come in the final outing of the campaign.

Not just have Arsenal lost their lead at the top of the Premier League table, it's been a terrible run of form that has seen the biggest turnaround in Premier League history occur.

The Gunners were 10 clear at one stage in the title race and now head into this game with an eight-point gap on Manchester City.

It means the north London side have dropped 18 points in the past two months after previously losing just two games all season long. In fact, Arsenal have now lost six times after a defeat to Nottingham Forest last time out and drawn six too.

Arsenal have only got that 2-0 win over Newcastle United to boast about in the past three games after also defeating Chelsea 3-1.

It means they've won just two of their past eight games after also drawing with West Ham United, Liverpool and Southampton. Mikel Arteta's men have also lost to Brighton & Hove Albion and Manchester City in the past month.

Although second is guaranteed for Arteta's side, they are now only nine points above Manchester United in second and could end up finishing only six above the Red Devils after previously being 16 points ahead of them at one stage in 2023.

The club have still managed to score 83 goals this campaign with them also letting in 43 across the season.

As for Wolves, they come into this one with a chance to move ahead of Chelsea in the Premier League table with the Midlands outfit only two adrift of the Blues after their midweek loss to United.

Wolves also head into this one with 18 defeats on the board, however, as they were beaten 2-0 by United two weeks back but drew with Everton last time out. It does mean they have registered four wins in the past eight games.

The club have, however, lost to Brighton 6-0 and Leicester City 2-0 in this time, but they will make things tough for Arsenal in this game.

Forebet still predicts a win for Arsenal and for the game to see over 2.5 goals.
