Bodo/Glimt Expected to Keep up Their Unbeaten Start to the Season Against Tromso
2395

Bodø/Glimt are aiming to keep up their unbeaten start to life in the Eliteserien this Tuesday when they meet with Tromso away from home as the club sit top of the table and with great hopes of getting back their league title.

Bodo/Glimt lost the title by two points to Molde last season after previously winning the Elitserien in 2021 and 2020. In fact, they and Molde have shared the league title between them for many years in a row now, but Bodo/Glimt sit nine points above them already.

The club are also sitting nine points above Lillestrom in second and their lead at the top of the table is already a comfortable one. This comes off the back of them dropping points in just one game out of seven this season, as they drew 2-2 with Brann towards the end of April.

They have, however, lost to Lillestrom in the Norwegian Cup semi-finals this season, but this is their only loss after also winning six of the other league games.

Bodo/Glimt faced off with Rosenborg last time out in a game that saw Marius Lode sent off towards the end of the game - he now misses this match through suspension.

Faris Pemi Moumbagna and Hugo Vetlesen scored a goal each in the first half before an own goal late on in the game sealed all three points for Bodo/Glimt to put them on a three-game winning run since that draw with Brann.

As for Tromso, they are back in the win column after an away win at HamKam last weekend. It was their first victory in four games and it came in dramatic style when Niklas Vesterlund held his nerve to score from the penalty spot in the 101st minute of the game. Daniel Joshua Bassi Jakobsen also scored a goal that day.

Tromso are sitting with three wins and one loss from their six games now and they have seen just three goals conceded as well. At the same time, they have managed to win five matches as well with them having a game in hand to play over Bodo/Glimt.

Tromso were also beaten by Lillestrøm in the Norwegian Cup, as they suffered a home defeat in the quarter-finals before they went on to beat Bodo/Glimt.

Forebert predicts another win for Bodo/Glimt this weekend with the club set to carry on their fantastic unbeaten start to this season. Forebet also predicts over 2.5 goals in the game.
