Brentford ready to pile more pressure on relegation-threatened Nottingham Forest

Having claimed a much-needed win over Brighton in midweek, Nottingham Forest will resume their bid for Premier League survival when they travel to Brentford on Saturday.
With five games remaining, Forest find themselves one point clear of the relegation zone and level with Leeds United on 30 points.
Meanwhile, the Bees occupy ninth place in the table – eight points clear of 11th-placed Chelsea and 17 points better off than Nottingham Forest.
Brentford enter Saturday’s clash on the back of a 2-0 victory over Chelsea, despite registering a solitary attempt on target while seeing 27% possession.
The Bees headed to Stamford Bridge on a six-game winless run in the league, having recorded three draws and three losses since beating Southampton.
However, Thomas Frank’s men put in a commendable shift against Chelsea to remain eight points clear of the Blues in the table.
Having lost just two of their 16 home league games this term – picking up seven wins and seven draws in the process – Brentford will be hopeful of dispatching Forest.
That said, Nottingham Forest will be buoyant after defeating Brighton & Hove Albion 3-1 at the City Ground on Wednesday.
That victory ended a run of 11 games without a win for the Tricky Trees, while it also ended a four-match losing streak.
Although Forest can take confidence from Wednesday’s performance, they must improve on the road if they are to avoid relegation.
Indeed, Steve Cooper’s side hold the worst away record in the division, having recorded one win, three draws and 12 losses away from home this term.
Head-to-head: The overall head-to-head record in this fixture stands at 13 wins for Brentford, 13 wins for Nottingham Forest and 10 draws.
The teams played out a 2-2 draw in the reverse fixture back in November, meaning the Bees have avoided defeat in each of their last three games against Forest.
Team news: Brentford are currently without Pontus Jansson, Keane Lewis-Potter, Thomas Strakosha, Kristoffer Ajer and Christian Norgaard through injury.
Forest’s extensive injury list features Giulian Biancone, Chris Wood, Scott McKenna, Willy Boly, Jack Colback, Ryan Yates, Gustavo Scarpa, Omar Richards, Moussa Niakhate, Neco Williams and Dean Henderson.
Although Forest picked up a crucial victory in midweek, their struggles on the road look set to continue on Saturday.
Forebet predicts that Brentford will score over 2.5 goals on their way to dispatching struggling Nottingham Forest.
