It's one of the biggest games in Ligue 1 this season when Paris Saint-Germain in first takes on second-placed Lens in what could end up being the most significant game in a French title race that is much closer than many predicted.

There are just six points separating these two with only eight games left on the clock in Ligue 1 and Lens will be confident in getting all three points after PSG's terrible recent home run that has seen them lose two fixtures in the French capital in the past three weeks.

Lens managed to defeat the champions back on New Year's Day and on just the second game after the World Cup break.

The victory that day did bring them to within three points of PSG in the title race but a poor run of form saw them drop further down the table but they are now back within a chance to make it three points once more.

Przemyslaw Frankowski scored after five minutes that day before Hugo Ekitke scored after eight minutes to eqaulise. Lois Openda took the lead for Lens once again, as Alexis Claude Maurice made it 3-1 early into the second half.

Lens have now won four in a row and let in one goal in their last outing against Strasbourg which now means three clean sheets in the past month too.

This has seen the club hammer Clermont Foot away from home and then beat Angers 3-0 before a victory over Rennes on the road.

As for PSG, it's been an almighty struggle for them in the past month and they have seen their hopes of defending their Ligue 1 title take a hit after a 2-0 loss at home to Rennes and a 1-0 loss at home to Lyon.

The champions managed to defeat Nice last time out in a return to the win column after Lionel Messi bagged another goal before Sergio Ramos scored once more.

Lens are ahead of Marseille by two points in the league too and the second-placed side are the best defensive side in the division with just 22 goals scored.

As for PSG, they have scored 70 goals in 30 games this Ligue 1 season but they have managed to win 22 times in the league, although they have now lost five times.

Forebet predicts a draw in this game and for it to see under 2.5 goals once again.
