13th and 17th will meet one another in Serie A this Friday night to kick off another round of action where Sassuolo are looking for four wins on the bounce for the first time this season at home to Spezia.

Sassuolo have won two of these games away from the Mapei Stadium, as they first beat Lecce away from home after Kristian Thorstvedt scored the winning goal in the second half to move the Black and Green further up the table.

Sassuolo then went on to defeat Cremonese in a narrow 3-2 scoreline, as Armand Lauriente and Davide Frattesi scored a goal each in the first half. Nedim Bajrami would then go on to score a third in stoppage time.

However, the game that stole the headlines in all of these was Sassuolo's stunning win over Roma in the capital that saw Lauriente net twice inside five minutes at a stage in the first half to give the club a 2-0 lead after 20 minutes.

Domenico Berardi scored a penalty just before the end of the first half, as Andrea Pinamonti secured a stunning win in the 75th minute with a goal.

This incredible run is Sassuolo’s best stint of the season in Serie A so far, and it now means they come into this one with 14 points on the relegation zone after nine wins and 11 losses. They have still let in 40 goals and scored just 34 of their own.

Spezia come into this game off the back of two draws and a stunning win over Inter Milan last Friday at home.

AC Milan loanee, Daniel Maldini, managed to stun Inter with a goal in the second half against his rival team, although an Inter penalty seemed to have earned a point for the away side.

However, M'Bala Nzola netted a penalty in the final three minutes of the game to earn Spezia a stunning win.

Spezia also drew 0-0 with Hellas Verona and Udinese just before this, with the club drawing with Empoli just prior to this. It means their only loss in the past month has come against Juventus at home in a 2-0 defeat.

Nevertheless, Spezia sit just five above the drop zone and come into this one with only 23 goals scored and 12 losses.

Forebet predicts a win for Sassuolo in this game and for the match to see over 2.5 goals as the club's excellent winning form continues.
