Rangers to post third straight win under manager Michael Beale
2449

The Michael Beale era got off to a strong start with back-to-back wins for Rangers in the Scottish Premiership. However, Rangers have not been wholly convincing in either of their wins under the manager, as they needed to come from behind twice to win.

Rangers came from behind to defeat Hibernian 3-2 before needing two second-half stoppage-time goals against Aberdeen in midweek to win 3-2. Beale needs the side to play better defence and for the team’s stars to step up.

Ross County will welcome Rangers to Victoria Park on Friday night in the Scottish Premiership. The Staggies are 10th in the 12-team league ahead of the Friday night fixture. County are on a two-game losing streak and lost four of its last six games overall.

Malky Mackay’s team is only outside the relegation zone due to goal difference. A loss to Rangers a positive result for Kilmarnock or Dundee United could see Ross County fall into the bottom two.

Rangers are unbeaten in six straight games in all competitions versus Ross County. Five of those six matches against Ross County ended as wins for Rangers. All six games ended with over 3.5 goals scored. Four of the six games saw both teams score goals.

The Ibrox club took 13 points from the last six games in the league. Their last four games ended without defeat. Rangers have 14 points from eight games on the road this season, which is the second-most points away from home this term in the Premiership.

Ross County took just six points from the last six matches in the league. The Staggies were outscored 9-8 across the last six matches.

Ross County of the second-fewest home points this season with eight points from nine games. Five of their last six games at home ended without a victory.

Beale has several injury problems going into the game, making his options for the starting XI limited. Striker Antonio Colak is out until January with an injury. Midfielders Steven Davis is likely to miss the game with a knock and Kemar Roofe has a calf injury.

Forward Tom Lawrence is out until January with a knee injury. Midfielder Ianis Hagi will miss the fixture as well due to a knee injury. Defender Filip Helander is sidelined with a foot injury.

Mackay is without Jack Baldwin due to a red-card suspension. Meanwhile, midfielder Ross Callachan is out with a hamstring strain and defender Ben Purrington will miss the game with an ankle injury.

Rangers should pick up another victory against Ross County and continue their winning form under Beale. The game should once again see over 3.5 goals, as Rangers pick up a 3-1 win.
