These teams have not played in Serie A or recent Coppa Italia matches. Therefore, there are no recent trends to go on ahead of the kick-off at San Siro.
Pioli has three players receiving treatment ahead of the match for round No. 11. Defender Alexis Saelemaekers has a knee injury and is out until November. Midfielder Alessandro Florenzi is out until December with a hamstring strain. Forward Zlatan Ibrahimovic remains out with a knee problem.
Monza coach Raffaele Palladino will be without Nicolo Rovella due to a suspension. Joining Rovella on the sidelines is Andrea Ranocchia. Ranocchia is nursing an ankle sprain.
AC Milan should continue their good form against Monza this weekend with a win. Milan are unbeaten in 25 of their last 26 Serie A matches. Pioli’s team is on a brilliant run of form, and it should continue this weekend.
The Rossoneri should post a 2-0 win at home and potentially move into first place. Milan will need Atlanta and Napoli to drop points to move into first place, which is possible this weekend.
