Newcastle United continued their excellent league form with a 1-0 win against Everton in midweek. The Magpies are sixth in the standings and just two points off the top four.

On Sunday, Newcastle will make the trip to London to face off with third-place Tottenham Hotspur. Spurs are stinging after a 2-0 loss at Old Trafford on Wednesday night against Manchester United.

It was Spurs' second loss in their last six matches. Tottenham did take 12 points from the last 18 points on offer in the league. They scored 12 goals but conceded eight times.

Newcastle United also took 12 points from the last six games in the league. Eddie Howe’s team played nearly perfect defensive football, conceding just three goals in the last six games. Newcastle kept back-to-back clean sheets in the league.

Tottenham manager Antonio Conte will hope home is where the heart is for Spurs. The Londoners have won all five matches at Tottenham Hotspur Stadium this season. They outscored opponents 15-4 in their five home matches.

Newcastle won just one of their opening five games in the Premier League on the road. However, they lost just one of their opening five road matches. No team in the Premier League has drawn more matches than Newcastle United’s six.

Spurs went unbeaten in five of their last six games versus Newcastle. The Magpies failed to win each of their last five games versus Tottenham. Tottenham scored two goals or more in each of their last three home games.

Conte desperately needs Dejan Kulusevski back from injury. The forward has a thigh strain and is a major doubt to return. The Spurs' attack has been slightly one-dimensional without him.

Full-back Emerson is suspended for the match after picking up a red card. Richarlison will miss the match as well following a calf injury.

Howe has six players on the injury list heading into the weekend. Striker Alexander Isak is still out with a thigh injury. Back-up goalkeeper Karl Darlow is ruled out with an ankle injury. Allan Saint-Maximin has a thigh injury but could be passed fit in time to play.

The same goals for forward Joelinton, as he is nearly back from a knee injury. Meanwhile, Matt Ritchie and Emil Krath are both set to miss the game through injury.

Spurs are playing well at home and Newcastle United are just playing well. The two sides should draw the fixture at Tottenham Hotspur Stadium, with the match finishing 2-2.

It could be a big day with Harry Kane potentially finding the back of the net for the 10th time this season.
