The game saw Dortmund concede at least two goals for the third time in four games in the German top flight.
The visitor's recent away record could not be more inconsistent, as BVB have won three and lost three of their previous six league games on their travels. That poor away run includes losing back-to-back away games at RB Leipzig and Koln.
