Haka to Stay Ahead of Inter Turku in the Veikkausliiga with Another Win

It's the start of the Veikkausliiga play-offs this week as Inter Turku and Haka battle it out with six games each set to conclude Finland's top flight with fourth meeting fifth here at the Veritas Stadium.
Turko are sitting fifth in the league here in the play-offs side of things. It has seen them win only nine of the 22 games so far in the league, with eight losses so far in the league and five draws.
At the same time, however, they do boast one of the best defensive records with a commendable 28 goals conceded after the 22 fixtures.
On the other hand, with a fantastic record of 40 goals scored, they are the second-highest scorers in the league so far with only VPS netting more.
Inter have hit a roadblock in recent weeks, however. It has only been two games since the win over Mariehamn, but with a 1-1 draw against Ilves and a 1-0 loss to KuPS in the Suomen Cup, they do sit with a two-game winless run for just the second time in three months.
The run in the Suomen Cup was a commendable one, however, as they got all the way to the final before that loss to KuPS, as they defeated the likes of HIFK and HJK.
As for Haka, they are in one of their best stints of form in the league so far with a three-game winning run that has seen them defeat Lahti 1-0, Honka 2-1 and Ilves 3-2. Only a 3-0 loss to HJK came in the past month, as they also beat Oulu 3-2 and KuPS 2-1.
Haka are just above Inter in the table with two more wins on the board which have come in the past two weeks.
It's now 11 wins and seven defeats for the club with a topsy-turvy record on the goals front of 36 goals conceded and 38 scored so far after 22 games. What's more, they have only drawn four times too.
It will be a close one here with both sides in very similar stints of form and right by one another in the table as well.
Forebet does predict a higher-scoring game, however, and Forebet expects there to be over 2.5 goals once more between these two and for the away side to get another victory and leap ahead of Inter in the table.Either way, it’s set to be a thrilling end to the Veikkausliiga season.
