København and Sevilla will meet in the Champions League as they look to move on swiftly from two disastrous results in the competition on the opening week of action in Europe’s elite competition which could see the two sides fight for third already.

It does look as if Manchester City will top this group quite comfortably as Borussia Dortmund challenge for second in a much better way than these two sides are right now.

However, in some ways, this is the biggest match of the group to see who can potentially end up competing the closest to City and Dortmund and perhaps even for the Europa League spot in third come to the end of the group campaign.

Sevilla, however, have been absolutely dreadful all season long in both Spain and Europe. Despite the exceptional ability of manager Julen Lopetegui down the years with a variety of institutions, his time at Sevilla has come under great scrutiny in recent weeks.

Right now, his men sit 16th in La Liga  and are only just coming into this game with their first win of the domestic season. This also saw them rocket out of the relegation zone.

The Spanish side lost to Almeria, Osasuna and Barcelona in the recent games of La Liga, with them also drawing against Real Valladolid a few weeks back on home soil.

In fact, each game has seen Sevilla struggle to see much of the ball, just as the club have failed to score more than one goal in a game this campaign, other than the recent win against Espanyol.

In fact, after a demolition by City in the opening round of the Champions League, they sit with just one win all season long, a -4 goals difference in the group stages already, and with the simple fact that they must win here to give the club a chance to progress into the knockout rounds, just as Lopetegui needs to win to keep the board off his back too.

As for Copenhagen, it hasn't exactly been much better for them either this season. Right now, they sit sixth in the Danish Superliga - this is the lowest they have been in the past decade after this many games in the new season.

What's more, with a 3-0 loss to Dortmund in the first game of the Champions League, form is looking terrible right now and the pressure is also mounting on manager Jess Thorup.
