The standout tie on Saturday’s Serie A schedule sees Juventus welcome Roma to Turin, with both sides aiming to protects their unbeaten starts to the season.

Roma are one of three sides to have collected maximum points from the first two games. As a result, they sit level with Napoli and Inter atop the table.

As for Juventus, they find themselves fourth – two points behind third-place Roma. Can the Old Lady leapfrog Jose Mourinho’s side this weekend?

Juventus kicked off their campaign with an easy 3-0 victory over Sassuolo. Angel Di Maria opened the scoring begore Dusan Vlahovic bagged a brace.

Despite seeing the lion’s share of possession and racking up ten shots, Juventus were held to a goalless draw by Sampdoria last time out.

Thanks to a strong end to the previous campaign, Juve have lost just three of their last 26 Serie A encounters.

Juventus are also one of only two sides to have kept back-to-back clean sheets this term. Unfortunately for them, the other team is Roma.

In classic Jose Mourinho fashion, Roma head into Matchday 3 on the back of two successive 1-0 victories.

Following an away win at Salernitana on the opening weekend, the capital club edged passed newly-promoted Cremonese last time out.

It is worth pointing out that Roma have already registered a total of 47 shots this season, 17 of which were on target.

Given that Mourinho’s men have only suffered four defeats across their previous 24 league outings, they will be confident of upsetting Juventus on Saturday.

Head-to-head: Roma have managed to win just eight of their last 42 Serie A meetings with Juventus, recording 22 losses along the way.

Four of the previous six league encounters between Juve and Roma have produced over 2.5 goals, meaning we should see plenty of action this time around.

Team news: Juventus’ lengthy injury list contains Angel Di Maria, Wojciech Szczesny, Paul Pogba, Marley Ake, Kaio Jorge and Federico Chiesa.

Roma also have a number of injury absentees, with Nicolo Zaniolo, Ebrima Darboe and Georginio Wijnaldum expected to miss Saturday’s clash.

Although Juventus have made a solid start to the season, let’s not forget that Roma sit two points clear of the Old Lady following two clean-sheet wins.

With that in mind, Forebet predicts that Roma will claim all three points on Saturday – scoring over 1.5 goals on their way to victory.
