FC Nurnberg and Greuther Furth Expected to Make 2 Draws From 2 Games

Greuther Fürth will be aiming to make it four points from the first six available upon their return to the 2. Bundesliga as they travel to the Max-Morlock-Stadion where a Nurnberg side awaits them who lost on the opening day.
It was one of the worst seasons in Bundesliga history last year when Furth were relegated from the top division with a torrid record of 18 points.
This saw them down and out by as early as six games out until the end of the season, while no team across Europe's top five leagues came near to their 18-point tally, other than Norwich City of the Premier League when they were relegated to the Championship.
Of course, this does not bode well for any side heading into a new season, but after just three wins from the 34 games and nine draws and another draw on the opening day in 2. Bundesliga, Furth are in as poor of form as any side out there right now.
What's more, they stunningly lost 22 games last campaign and conceded the most goals across Europe with 82 going in their own goal.
Furth did manage to get 28 goals in the campaign, however, which was still better than Arminia Bielefeld who were also relegated once more into the 2. Bundesliga just above them in the table.
They also met with Holstein Kiel on the opening day of the campaign where they drew 2-2.
Julian Green scored for Furth to cancel out Kiel's first goal, before Timothy Tillman gave them the lead for just four minutes before a penalty was conceded by Furth.
As for Nurnberg, they were defeated by St. Pauli on the opening day of the season when Kwadwo Duah and Enrico Valentini scored for the club in the second half after going 3-0 down inside 39 minutes of the new season.
Valentini also netted in the dying second of the game, but it was fairly commendable for them to come from 3-0 down to 3-2, despite still losing the game.
The first game of the season didn’t show us too much about these two clubs. Over 2.5 only came in last season for Greuther Furth because of their torrid defensive record, while Nurnberg always seem to lack consistency year in, year out.
