Bodo/Glimt Set to Ease Past Kristiansund BK
2259

Bodo/Glimt are in desperate need of a win when they travel to the Kristiansund Stadion this Saturday to meet with a Kristiansund sitting way down at the foot of the table without a win to date in this Eliteserien season.

Despite making themselves known to the rest of Europe with their stunning attacking football in the Europa Conference League, back where it all matters and where they usually shine, Bodo/Glimt have been struggling way more than they usually do back on the domestic front.

Stunning performances such as a 6-1 victory over Jose Mourinho’s Europa Conference League-winning Roma in the group stages and a 2-2 draw in the return fixture really put them on the map.

Bodo/Glimt eventually lost to Roma when it all mattered most, however, as they lost a two-legged quarter-finals to Mourinho.

In Norway, the club have only three wins from their nine games so far in the top flight, with them carrying on their form of conceding goals at an alarming rate, but scoring plenty of their own for fun.

As of now, Bodo/Glimt have netted 18 times in the Eliteserien, while also conceding 14 goals to this point. What's more they have only lost twice, with the majority of their games (4) ending in a draw.

Kjetil Knutsen's men are also coming off the back of their worst result of the league season, with them losing to the high-flying Molde.

Joel Mvuka scored once more for Bodo/Glimt, but they lost 3-1 and never led or tied the game at a point within the 90 minutes.

In fact, it's now a two-game winless run for Knutsen's side, with them drawing 2-2 with Stromsgodset. Haugesund were the last team to face defeat at the hands of Bodo/Glimt, as Sondre Sorli, Runar Espejord, and Armahl Pellegrino all scored at least a goal each in a 4-1 win, as the latter netted twice.

As for Kristiansund, they remain winless and are fighting for survival already in the Norwegian top flight, and in truth, they are losing this battle tremendously, with them now eight points adrift of safety.

Kristiansund have also scored only five times in the Eliteserien so far, with them conceding 14 times too. They did win fairly recently, however, as they smashed Surnadal 4-1 in the Norwegian Cup first round back in mid-May.

Forbet predicts a fairly easy game for the high-scoring Bodo/Glimt, and they should win here with the game set to see over 2.5 goals too.
