A Draw Expected Between Ghazl El Mahalla and El Gaish in a Mid-Table Battle

Two struggling sides looking to finish in the top 10 of the Egyptian Premier League will meet this weekend as Ghazl El Mahalla battle with Tala'ea El Gaish as each side looks to continue their decent run of form in Egypt.
Ghazl El Mahalla have had a very topsy-turvy 2022 season so far, which has been optimized during the month of May that has seen them draw with Al Masry and ENPPI, while beating Eastern Company. Mohamed Bazooka was sent off in that game, however, and will miss this one still.
The narrow win over the bottom-placed Eastern Company was also just their fifth win of the campaign, and although they have drawn a league-high 10 games this season, they have only lost just five.
Ghazl El Mahalla fans won't be too hopeful of getting the win here, however, with the club conceding 23 goals compared to the 14 of El Giash.
Nevertheless, stunningly, El Gaish have scored only 11 goals, which is eight fewer than that of the home side here.
It is all, on the other hand, a serious improvement so far for Mohamed Ouda's men, as after returning to the division for
the first time in five years last campaign, they ended up in 14th and just a few points above relegation. Now, however, they're ninth and a comfortable seven points above the bottom three and 10 off the top four spots.
El Gaish are on the march as well in recent weeks, as they have gone 14 games unbeaten since their loss to El Gouna all the way back in early February.
An Egypt Cup run has come in this time, while they've racked up a total of seven wins and seven draws since that defeat.
It's seen the club move from way down near the bottom of the table all the way into seventh, with these seven wins since February being all they have to boast about in the league this season.
As mentioned, incredibly, they've still only scored 11 goals in 20 games but sit 17 points away from 18th.
Across the season, however, barely anything is separating either side here and it’s likely going to be a close game with both sides aiming to remain in the top 10 here.
Forebet predicts a draw in El Mahalla El Kubra and for the game to see under 2.5 goals as the draws continue to come in for the Egyptian Premier League sides in the top half.
