Juventus are on a two-match losing streak heading into the penultimate match of the Serie A season. The Bianconeri lost 2-1 to Genoa last weekend away courtesy of two goals in the final minutes by the Grifone.

Max Allegri’s team followed up the Serie A defeat with a 4-2 loss to Inter Milan in the Coppa Italia final. The game was 2-2 at the end of 90 minutes as Juve conceded a late penalty. Inter Milan went on to score twice in extra-time.

Now, Juventus host fifth-place Lazio in Serie A. This season will see the Black and White miss out on all trophies. Lazio are on a two-match winning streak heading into matchday 37.

The Biancocelesti cannot finish any higher than fifth place. However, Lazio can drop as low as eighth. Fiorentina, Atalanta, and Hellas Verona are all chasing Lazio for qualification to the Europa League.

Juventus have the edge in head-to-head meetings with Lazio. The Bianconeri have a head-to-head record of 3W-1D-2L across the last six games. They outscored Lazio 10-9 in those six games.

In the reverse fixture played in Rome, Juventus won 2-0. The Bianconeri are now four-matches unbeaten against Lazio in all competitions.

Juventus took 10 points from the last 18 points available in the division. They scored a mere eight goals in that time. The defence allowed just seven goals to opponents.

Maurizio Sarri’s Lazio picked up 13 points from the last 18 on offer. They outscored their last six opponents 14-8. Lazio’s away form has improved during the season. They won their last two away matches and have a record of 8W-3D-7L on the road with a +2-goal difference.

Juventus have been strong at home in Turin. They have a record of 10W-4D-4L at home with a goal difference of +11. Juve are unbeaten in their last two home matches.

Allegri will be without the trio of Kaio Jorge, Weston McKennie, and Federico Chiesa. All three are ruled out through long-term injuries. Giorgio Chiellini could play his last match for Juventus on Sunday. The defender is set to leave the club in June.

Sarri is hopeful over striker Ciro Immobile’s fitness. The striker has a sprained ankle and is currently listed as a doubt to play the game. Pedro is also a doubt. The forward has a calf muscle strain.

Juventus are on a strong unbeaten run against Lazio. They should claim another win against the Biancocelesti at home. Juventus should win with a correct score prediction of 3-1 versus Lazio.
