Another Draw Expected Between Osasuna and Valencia as 9th Meets 10th

Two sides right by one another in the La Liga table will meet this Saturday as ninth meets 10th with a win for either club set to propel them towards the top seven in the final few weeks of the campaign as Valencia meet Osasuna.
Barely anything separates either of these two sides other than the feel around the club right now. For the 10th-placed Osasuna, they have managed to break into the top half of the table and move themselves away from the drop zone in comfortable fashion.
In the three years they’ve been back in La Liga, they haven’t managed to move above 10th in the table and claimed 11th last campaign. Now, with only six points between them and the Champions League semi-finalists, Villarreal, they will be eyeing up breaking further into the top 10 with a victory here.
Osasuna have also managed to return to winning ways after getting thrashed by Real betis 4-1 just two weeks ago. Last time out, Ante Budimir scored in the 92nd minute for the club as they stole all three points from Deportivo Alaves.
It was a game dominated by Jagoba Arrasate as they had 66% of the ball and managed and delivered 15 shots to the opposition.
They remain one of the lowest-scoring sides in the table, however, as this winner in the last game was just their 31st goal of the season - nobody inside the top half have scored fewer and it's even less than 19th-placed Levante.
Osasuna have also registered two more victories over the past month as they beat Europe's high-flying Villarreal 1-0 and then relegation fighters Levante 3-1.
Valencia are in ninth, and they remain ahead of Osasuna ahead of this one by a mere point. At the same time, they've smashed in 12 more goals and conceded four more (44) than their opposition here. At the same time, Valencia have won one game less than the 10th-placed side too.
Valencia have been on a torrid run of form in the last four games though, as they drew 0-0 with both Getafe and Cadiz down near the bottom, drew with Rayo Vallecano last time out 1-1.
Their only victory in the past month was against Elche, but they did also manage to secure a Copa del Rey final clash after beating Athletic Club back in March.
