Roma to Make it 2 Wins in a Row by Beating Sampdoria Away From Home

Roma will look to keep their unbeaten run going when they travel to the Luigi Ferraris Stadium to meet with a Sampdoria side still struggling to get themselves away from the drop zone in what has been a torrid campaign for them.

The Genoa side have been near the drop zone, within it, and out of it by a bit of a distance during an almighty topsy-turvy season.

There will be a bit more hope running around the club at the moment though, as they managed to ease past Venezia before the international break as Francesco Caputo scored twice in the first half.

This subsequently created a seven-point gap for the club over the 18th-placed Venezia, and with them occupying the final relegation spot right now along with their extra game in hand, Sampdoria cannot afford to lose here again as the gap could be cut to four having played an extra game.

Prior to their win in Venice, the club lost to Juventus, Udinese and Atalanta consecutively, where they managed to concede nine goals and score just twice.

Marco Giampaolo's men have now let in 51 goals from their 30 games in Serie A this season with them also scoring 39 times in what has been a relatively decent goals return for them.

However, the club have still conceded more than their city rivals and the relegation-sitting Genoa, and every game they face is now absolutely vital so they don’t move closer to the relegation spots once again.

Roma, however, are in the midst of their best form since Jose Mourinho burst back onto the scene of Serie A back at the start of the campaign.

The club smashed their rivals Lazio last time out at the Stadio Olimpico with a stunning 3-0 victory over their neighbours.

Tammy Abraham continued his stunning goalscoring ways that day with two goals, just before Lorenzo Pellegrini scored one of the goals of the season with a stunning free kick.

Abraham now also has 15 goals in his debut Serie A season, which only Ciro Immobile can better in the Italian top flight this campaign with his 21.

This excellent run extended their unbeaten run to eight games, although they did register four draws within this time as well as four victories as they also moved into the quarter-finals of the Europa Conference League by edging past Vitesse.

Forebet predicts another win for Roma here, as the game is expected to see under 2.5 goals.
