Third from bottom meets third from top as Bayer Leverkusen play hosts to Hertha Berlin at the BayArena with the away side looking to get out of the relegation zone just as the Company's Eleven look to make it two wins in a row in the Bundesliga in pursuit of their best league finish since since 2016.
Leverkusen have successfully managed to get into either the Europa League or the Champions League for the past few seasons, but back in 2016 when they finished third was one of the best Bundesliga campaigns to date. Now, they sit in third and have a healthy three-point gap on fourth-placed RB Leipzig.
They still have loads of work to do in order to track down second-placed Borussia Dortmund who sit nine clear of them with only seven games left to play.
On the other hand, with them so clear, attention must swing towards staying in third and keeping up their fight to return to the Champions League.
Leverkusen did return to the win column last time out following three defeats in a row and just one win in their past six games since they lost to Mainz back in mid-February.
Wolfsburg were their victims last time out, as Paulinho put on a masterclass with two goals to seal all three points in a fantastic away display from Gerardo Seoane's men.
This was the club's 14th win of the season as they also scored their 66th goal too, which is only bettered by the top two.
However, following 41 goals going in their own goal, it is their defensive record that has been the problem as they have let in just three more goals than 15th-placed Augsburg who are currently fighting relegation.
Felix Magath, a Bundesliga winner with Wolfsburg and Bayern Munich in the past 20 years, is now in charge of the club to make it their third manager of the season, and he now has his biggest task to date.
Hertha did manage to get an excellent 3-0 win in the Bundesliga last time around, which did end a run of five games with a defeat as they conceded an alarming 15 goals in five games and scored only three.
In total, the Berlin outfit have only registered seven wins all season long along with 15 defeats which keeps them in the relegation play-off spot.
Leverkusen should keep their winning run going, and Forebet predicts them to win here in a game that sees over 2.5 goals.
