Saturday lunchtime’s clash in the Spanish second tier concerns this upcoming encounter between Ibiza and Real Sociedad B at the Estadio Can Misses with both teams needing all three points for their respective ambitions of a possible play-off spot and avoiding relegation, respectively.

Taking a look at Ibiza first and the hosts have failed to win any of their last three games overall in La Liga 2 following 1-1 draws with both Ponferradina and Leganes before falling to a heavy 5-1 loss away from home at Girona.

Ibiza will therefore be eager to return to the more familiar surroundings of their home ground for this Saturday’s game.

But the bigger picture shows that these three wins have been Real Sociedad B’s only highlights in La Liga 2 for some time.

Having managed to pick up just three wins out of their last 16 matches overall in La Liga 2, Real Sociedad B therefore look to have their work cut out for this Saturday lunchtime’s clash away at Ibiza, with their current situation looking precarious as they trail Sporting Gijon and safety by a six-point margin.

Real Sociedad B have also managed to win just once in their last eight outings on the road which includes four defeats, so the visitors look set for further disappointment this Saturday as well.
