On Sunday afternoon, Stade Reims host Lyon in a midtable clash that could have big implications when it comes to the visitor’s chances of landing a top-five finish in Ligue One and European football next season.
Reims are 12th place in the Ligue One table, nine points clear of the relegation play-off spot in the French top-flight table. The home team has mounted a decent recent run of league form, as they are unbeaten in their last four Ligue One outings after a 1-0 win at Angers last time out.
