The race to secure the Champions League spots in the Bundesliga is hotting up with as many as eight teams looking to finish in the top-four.
With Bayern Munich, Dortmund and Bayer Leverkusen seemingly pretty comfortable in the top-three, that just leaves one available space in Europe’s elite competition for next season.
Two of the team’s hoping to secure that last Champions League spot, RB Leipzig and Freiburg meet at the Red Bull Arena on Saturday afternoon. The pair are neck and neck in the top-four race in fourth and fifth place respectively in the table.

Die Rotten Bullen have now won six of their last seven Bundesliga games. Their only blip was a 3-2 defeat at reigning champions and league leaders Bayern Munich.
Tedesco’s team has been impressive in front of goal in recent weeks too, scoring at least two goals in six of their last seven league outings.
RB Leipzig have been in good form of late at the Red Bull Arena, winning four of their last five matches in the Bundesliga, having scored at least twice in all four wins.
Freiburg have once again enjoyed an impressive campaign in the Bundesliga. Christian Streich’s team head into this clash on the back of two straight league wins in the German top-flight after wins over Augsburg and Hertha Berlin.
However, the visitors have won just one of their last four away matches in the Bundesliga, which is a record that will have to improve if they are to finish in the league’s top-four.
