Norwich City’s boost following the appointment of manager Dean Smith in November has ended and the Canaries are struggling once more. Smith’s team is still just three points from safety, however.
A win against West Ham on Wednesday night would enable Norwich City to pull level with 17th-place Watford. However, a win over fifth-place West Ham is easier said than done.

Said Benrahma will miss the game on Wednesday due to being at the Africa Cup of Nations tournament. Angelo Ogbonna and Aaron Cresswell will both miss the game through injury. Kurt Zouma is a doubt with a thigh injury and Vladimir Coufal is unlikely to play due to illness.
Smith will be without Billy Gilmour, Christoph Zimmermann, Lukas Rupp, Jonathan Rowe, Andrew Omobamidele, and Mathias Normann all due to injuries. Midfielder Todd Cantwell is likely to be passed fit to make the squad.
