Arsenal are the next team tasked with trying to stop Manchester City. The two sides meet at the Emirates Stadium on Saturday lunchtime, kicking off Matchday 21 in the Premier League.

Man City find themselves eight points clear at the top of the table after winning each of their previous ten Premier League games.

As for the Gunners, they sit fourth – 15 points behind Man City and six points shy of third-place Liverpool.

Arsenal have won each of their previous four Premier League games, securing victories over Southampton, West Ham, Leeds and Norwich.

They scored a combined total of 14 goals across their last four outings, keeping three clean sheets in the process.

When you look at the bigger picture, the Gunners have won eight of their past 11 Premier League matches – losing just three of their previous 16.

Following a shaky start to the season, Mikel Arteta’s men are starting to show that they can compete with top teams in the division.

On the flip side, Man City head into Saturday’s clash on a seemingly unstoppable ten-game winning streak in the Premier League.

Pep Guardiola’s men have now won 16 of their 20 league matches this season, recording two draws and two losses along the way.

Not only are Man City the top scorers in the division (51), but they also boast the best defensive record (12).

They are averaging 2.55 goals per game in the Premier League this season and have kept a whopping 12 clean sheets.

When you look at the bigger picture, the Cityzens have lost just seven of their previous 47 away games across all competitions.

Head-to-head: Man City have won each of their last four meetings with Arsenal across all competitions, scoring 11 goals while keeping three clean sheets.

When you look at the bigger picture, Man City have won 11 of their previous 12 matches against the Gunners.

Team news: Sead Kolasinac remains Arsenal’s only injury absentee. Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang is out of favour at the moment, while several players are doubts due to COVID-19.

As for Man City, Rodri, Kyle Walker, John Stones and Liam Delap are all doubts for Saturday’s trip to the capital.

There is no denying that Arsenal have upped their game of late. That said, Man City are on a different level to every other Premier League team right now.

For that reason, Forebet predicts that Man City will score over 1.5 goals on their way to beating Arsenal – keeping yet another clean sheet in the process.
