Bayern to Ease to Another Three Points Against Stuttgart
5508

VfB Stuttgart will welcome Bayern Munich to the Mercedes-Benz Arena this Tuesday night as the league leaders look to extend their lead at the top of the table while the home side aim to distance themselves further from the relegation zone.

It’s a classic matchup of two sides at either end of the table here with the Bundesliga kings able to extend their lead to six points over Borussia Dortmund within the past 10 days as they beat their arch rivals just before they dropped more points to VfL Bochum.

Bayern now sit comfortably at the top, and it’s usually from these positions here that they manage to ease their way to the Bundesliga title and win games effortlessly. Against Stuttgart, they are expected to do just that and claim an easy three points on the road.

Stuttgart did have a decent start to the season by their own standard as they managed to win two of their first six league fixtures which put them comfortably inside the top half of the table.

However, just two more victories since their win over Hoffenheim in October has come and it consequently puts them just above the drop zone by a mere point.

In fact, last time out they returned to winning ways with a 2-0 win over Wolfsburg which brought them out of the relegation zone and at the time, brought on their second win in three games - this is their best form since the start of the season.

Nevertheless, the club have conceded 25 goals in only 15 games in the league which is the fourth most, and only bottom-placed Greuther Furth and FC Koln and Borussia Monchengladbach have let in more. At the same time, their 22 goals scored is still the second best inside the bottom 10, which is a sign of positivity at least.

As for the league leaders, their winning run has been extended to nine games ever since that stunning defeat to Gladbach in the DFB-Pokal where they lost 5-0. Bayern Munchen have since gone on to defeat the likes of Barcelona, Dortmund, Benfica and the high-flying SC Freiburg.

Last time out, Julian Nagelsmann's side played out a tough-fought match against Mainz, but finished the game with three points thanks to goals from Kinglsey Coman and Jamal Musiala.

Given Bayern’s exceptional form, their table-topping status, and the fact they’ve already scored an outrageous 47 goals in 15 league matches, Forebet predicts they will win here in a game that will see over 2.5 goals.
