Milan to Remain at the Top of Serie A by Easing Past Udinese

Table-topping AC Milan return to league action against Udinese after finishing their torrid Champions League campaign off in losing fashion once more which means the Italian giants finished their return to the Champions League with just one win, one draw and four defeats.
Milan had been waiting an astonishing seven years to return to Europe’s top competition but it did indeed end in disaster, as they haven’t even been able to drop into the Europa League where they have played some of their continental football in the midst of no Champions League action.
Nevertheless, with Napoli going through into the knockout rounds of the Europa League and Atalanta now there too, along with Inter Milan battling it out in the Champions League knockout stages also, Milan are the only title-chasing side in Italy without European football, which only strengthens their title pursuit.
The other three aforementioned clubs will have to mix up their squads now to battle on both fronts, but Milan will be fresh each weekend and now, they have become the favourites to win Serie A in the eyes of many. To do so, they must first beat Udinese, who themselves are fighting towards the other end of Serie A and against relegation.
Udinese are currently 14th, have won just three games so far, drawn seven and lost six. However, more worryingly, the club conceded 27 goals in just 16 games which is nine more than Milan and enough to keep them only six points above the bottom three.
On the other hand, following their struggles in Serie A, the club now enter the game without manager Luca Gotti following his dismissal and Gabriele Cioffi now steps in to take charge as the caretaker manager.
However, despite the potential post-manager spark, Forebet doesn’t see anything but a Milan win here. Despite their struggles in Europe, the club have been absolutely sensational in Italy for way over a year now and their title quest of last season has only continued into this one.
In fact, with 35 goals scored and only 18 conceded and just the 10 points dropped from the 48 available, Milan are gradually distancing themselves from teams like Atalanta and Juventus and they really are within a shout of their 19th Serie A title this campaign.
