Manchester United are rejuvenated under interim manager Ralf Rangnick and on Saturday afternoon, they will travel to Carrow Road to play 20th-place Norwich City.

Dean Smith’s Canaries moved to the bottom of the Premier League table on matchday 15 after a 3-0 loss at Tottenham. Smith’s excellent start at Norwich City came to an end, but the Canaries are still within three points of safety.

Manchester United endured a 1-1 draw in midweek Champions League play versus Young Boys. The Red Devils conceded a goal allowing Young Boys to come from behind to draw.

Despite the draw in midweek, Manchester United are on a good run of form. The Old Trafford outfit are undefeated in three consecutive league matches. Back-to-back fixtures in the league finished as wins.

The Red Devils are the sixth-place team in the Premier League. They are separated from Tottenham by just one point and a win will move them into the top five. Spurs match against Brighton has been postponed this weekend due to a COVID-19 outbreak at Spurs.

Manchester United obtained 10 points from the last 18 points possible in the league. They posted a goal difference of zero with nine goals scored and nine conceded. On matchday 15, Manchester United eked out a 1-0 win against Crystal Palace thanks to a Fred goal in the 77th minute.

Norwich City collected eight points from the last 18 available in the league. They allowed eight goals and scored six during those six games.

Manchester United are winless in their last two away fixtures and have obtained 11 points from 21 available away from Old Trafford this campaign. Norwich City have obtained the fewest Premier League points at home this season with five form 21 possible.

Smith’s team is undefeated in back-to-back games at Carrow Road. However, they are winless in three straight games in all competitions against Manchester United.

Norwich City’s Milot Rashica is ruled out of the game following a groin strain. Full-back Brandon Williams is ineligible to compete versus his parent club, Manchester United.

Christoph Zimmermann is ruled out of action after suffering an ankle injury. Mathias Normann is in contention to play, while Sam Byram is a major doubt.

Rangnick may have centre-back Raphael Varane fit to play. The Frenchman has missed a large chunk of the campaign with injuries. Striker Edinson Cavani is nearing a return and could be back for the holiday period.

Full-back Aaron Wan-Bissaka could make the squad after a hand injury. Anthony Martial and Paul Pogba are both ruled out of the game.

Manchester United are on a good run of form and should continue their positive play under Rangnick. The Red Devils will post a win against Norwich City with over 2.5 goals scored.
