Not only have Santos won three of their previous four games, but they have also kept four clean sheets in their last six outings.
Head-to-head: Atletico-GO are currently enjoying a three-match unbeaten streak against Santos, picking up two wins and a draw in that time.
It is also worth noting that Santos have only managed to win one of their previous five encounters with Atletico-GO across all competitions.
On top of that, six of the previous seven meetings between Atletico Goianiense and Santos have produced under 2.5 goals.
Team news: Atletico Goianiense come into Saturday’s game without any injury concerns, although head coach Eduardo Souza will surely be plotting changes after recent poor results.
Santos, meanwhile, could be without as many as seven first-team players through injury on Saturday, with Camacho, Jobson, John, and Sandry among the absentees.
With very little between Atletico Goianiense and Santos in the standings, this is destined to be a tight and cagey encounter.
