In what is one of the clashes of the weekend, Napoli will travel to Rome as the only faultless side left in Europe’s top five leagues look to continue their charge towards the title as Roma look to break the top three.

Before Inter Milan and Juventus meet in a match just as important as this one, Jose Mourinho’s Roma have a chance to move past the champions Inter and set up camp in third, where they will sit back and hope Juventus take points from them.

For now, however, the Rome outfit play hosts to arguably Europe’s very best right now in the form of Napoli, who remain the only team across Europe’s top five leagues not to drop a single point this campaign.

Of course, the likes of Bayern Munich and Liverpool continue to impress as the absolute best, but as of now, nobody can match Napoli’s form.

In fact, after their first win in the Europa League in midweek, other than the defeat to Spartak Moscow and the draw with Leicester City, the Naples side haven’t slipped up at all and they remain completely intact back in Italy.

What makes things even more impressive for Napoli is their exceptional form in both attack and defence.

As of now, they have managed to score an excellent 19 goals from only eight games, but with just the three goals conceded so far, nobody in Europe comes close to this exceptional record.

This record means they have conceded just one goal in their past four Serie A fixtures, as Fiorentina managed to bag against them last time out.

In reality, Napoli are probably the favourites for the Serie A title and if Inter can’t beat Juventus, we may see them bridge a gap even greater before the 10th game has even arrived.

Roma, on the other hand, have had a very topsy-turvy campaign thus far as they’ve been thumped in the Europa Conference League, played very well at times in Serie, but overall sit in fourth.

In fact, Mourinho’s men were thrashed 6-1 in midweek in the Conference League, but given how no top team seems to take this competition seriously, this result should be taken with a pinch of salt.

There is likely only one winner here after Roma’s recent slip-ups. Forebet predicts Napoli will win here and stay at the top of the table in a game that sees over 2.5 goals.
