High-flying Osasuna will aim to secure four straight La Liga wins when struggling Granada visit El Sadar on Friday night.

Osasuna have lost just two of their nine league games this term and find themselves fifth in Spain’s top tier – three points behind first-place Real Sociedad.

At the opposite end of the standings, Granada sit in seventeenth place – one point outside the relegation zone and 11 points behind Osasuna.

Osasuna head into Friday’s clash on the back of three consecutive victories, having beaten Mallorca, Rayo Vallecano and Villarreal.

In fact, Jagoba Arrasate’s side have won four of their last five La Liga games – and five of their previous seven.

Having conceded 12 goals this term, Osasuna have the worst defensive record in the top 12, while only six teams in La Liga have conceded more.

That said, Arrasate’s men have netted 13 goals, meaning just four sides have a better offensive record in the Spanish top-flight.

Trends also show that Osasuna have headed into half-time in each of their previous six home games in La Liga with the scores level.

On the flip side, Granada have only managed to win one of their eight league games this season – picking up three draws and four losses in the process.

Their sole victory came last time out against Sevilla. Despite seeing 31% possession a notching one shot on target, they were able to hold on for the win.

Having netted just six goals in eight La Liga games this term, Granada are among the lowest scorers in the division.

It is also worth pointing out that Granada have won only two of their last 17 away games in La Liga, underlining their struggles on their travels.

Head-to-head: Granada have won three of their last four games against Osasuna, although Osasuna won 3-1 last time around.

It is also worth noting that five of the previous six meetings between these two sides have seen one of the teams keep a clean sheet.

Team news: Osasuna will be without injured forward Ante Budimir on Friday as he continues to recover from muscular problems.

Granada, meanwhile, have the injured duo of centre-back Neyder Lozano and midfielder Yan Eteki on the sidelines.

The clean sheet theme in this fixture looks set to continue on Friday, with the hosts on course to claim all three points.

Forebet predicts that in-form Osasuna will get the better of struggling Granada on home soil, achieving a shutout in the process.
