Belgium Set to Make Easy Work of a Struggling Belarus Side

As one of the top teams expected to head to the 2022 World Cup, Belgium will travel to Belarus where Roberto Martinez’s can all but guarantee a place in Qatar next year as they have 13 points already on the board from five games.
Indeed, Belgium are yet to lose a single game at these qualifying stages, with only the Czech Republic snatching a point off them in the second match of Group E, and the Red Devils avenged that result last time out as they beat the Czechs 3-0.

Lukaku may not be rested, given how Chelsea will host Aston Villa on Saturday evening, which could force in a similar lineup that hosted Belarus prior to Euro 2020.
Either way, it’s going to be an incredibly tough game for Belarus and a defeat for them will kiss goodbye to any sort of World Cup dream.
They are one of the whipping boys in Group E, but Estonia are still rock bottom of the table as they have no points and scored just six goals this qualifying stage. Belarus triumphed 4-2 over Estonia a few months back, while they narrowly missed out on a point against Wales as they lost 3-2 to a 93rd Gareth Bale goal.
With this said and how Belgium already have one foot in Qatar for next year, they make take their foot off the gas a little but they should still make easy work of Belarus.
