Another Easy Day at the Office Expected for Bayern against Hertha
3012

Bundesliga’s serial winners Bayern Munich are back in action this weekend as they play hosts to Hertha Berlin in the top flight of German football not long after the club absolutely annihilated Bremer SV 12-0 in the DFB-Pokal.

Bayern travelled to Bremer as the favourites, but they were not expected to blow them away so ruthlessly as they shipped 8-0 goals inside the first 70 minutes. However, as they were reduced to 10 men, the Bundesliga heavyweights were able to lace up their gloves and deliver the hammer blows, as four more followed towards the end of the game.

This has come off the back of two topsy turvy games in the league for Bayern, and for anybody doubting what they can do in Germany this year, that game was a stark reminder that they are still the top side.

In the Bundesliga, Bayern München opened their account with a 1-1 draw to Borussia Monchengladbach, which was far from a convincing display from the champions.

However, a 3-2 win over Koln would follow, but once again, this was not quite the Bayern that everybody expected as Koln brought it back to 2-2 from 2-0 down.

Serge Gnabry scored twice that day, while Robert Lewandowski also scored to make it two in two for him and now 43 goals in his last 31 Bundesliga appearances, so as he is expected to start after a rest for the Bremer game on Wednesday, Bayern are the clear favourites once more.

In between these games for the Bavaria side, they also managed to triumph over Borussia Dortmund 3-1 in the Super Cup, with two goals from, once again, Lewandowski.

All in all, it is three wins from four games for the club this season, but a few questions have come Julian Naglesmann’s way as of late.

Hertha BSC, on the other hand, have had an absolutely rotten start to the 2021/22 campaign and they are in desperate need of picking up a point at the Allianz Arena, which seems unlikely.

Hertha did manage to get a goal in both of their Bundesliga defeats so far this season, however, after leading against Wolfsburg, they once again tasted defeat, and the same is expected here.

The same thing happened last time out as they travelled to Koln, where Stevan Jovetic scored inside five minutes for them, only to concede three goals and lose the game 3-1.

Forebet predicts an easy day for the champions and we can see three more points for Bayern this weekend.
