River Plate host domestic rival Argentinos Juniors in the Copa Libertadores round of 16 on Wednesday. River Plate are one of the favourites to win the Copa Libertadores at odds of 5/1.
Argentinos Juniors are underdogs to win the competition at odds of 40/1. So, which side will get the upper hand in the first leg?
The Argentine Superliga begins just days after the Copa Libertadores match between River Plate and Argentinos Juniors. The teams are still in the closed season in Argentina, but will play the second leg following kickoff of the league campaign.

The Bug topped Copa Libertadores Group F, winning four of their six matches. They are playing in the Copa Libertadores for the first time in more than a decade. It is just their fourth appearance in the Copa Libertadores history.
River Plate centre-back Jonatan Maidana is suspended for the game following a red-card sending off in the team’s previous Copa Libertadores match. Paulo Diaz will likely take Maidana’s place in the starting XI.
