Liverpool will be looking to league campaign in strong fashion

Liverpool progression into the last four of the Europa League has been the high point of the campaign. The Reds have endured a strange campaign, as they made it to the Capital One Cup final but their form in the Premier League has been very inconsistent.

The side from Merseyside now look to be progressing under enigmatic boss Jurgen Klopp and performances seem to be improving. The team’s style of play has gradually improved since the German’s arrival at the club.

The former-Dortmund’s bosses’ arrival at Anfield after the erratic reign of Brendan Rodgers was supposed to herald a new era at the club and signs of improvement are there for all to see.

The Reds visit Bournemouth on Sunday afternoon in the Premier League. Klopp’s side are currently eighth in the English top-flight table, but have games in-hand on the teams above them. A challenge for the top four this season looks just out of reach for the Reds, but they have to be looking to finish the campaign in strong fashion.

The majority of Liverpool fans are waiting to judge Klopp on his performance as Reds boss until he has enjoyed his first transfer window, which is fair.

If the Reds can establish some momentum in the final Premier League games of the season then they can hit the ground running at the start of next season.

Last season Premier League leaders Leicester hit form towards the end of the campaign and that winning form continued into the new season. There will never be another story like the Foxes, but next season the minimum aim for the Reds will be a Champions League spot and a good end to the campaign could help that happen.
