Nickname, Stadium, Manager, and Their Biggest Achievements
Nicknamed the Oaks, the Verde and Black, Los Verdes or El Tree, Austin play at the Q2 Stadium that can hold up to 20,738 fans. Unlike other clubs who share their ground with other sports, the Q2 Stadium is Austin’s own soccer-specific stadium.
In regards to their biggest achievement, ironically, we’re currently witnessing this right now as they sit second in the Western Conference behind Los Angeles FC.

Nevertheless, their 42 goals scored is the most in the league this campaign, as this is two more than LAFC and three more than the defending MLS Cup champions and second-placed Eastern Conference giants, New York City.
What's more, these 42 goals have been shared amongst 12 players so far, as Sebastián Driussi remains the club's top scorer with 11 goals from 21 fixtures.
Although they are the most in-form MLS side right now with 14 points from the last 18 available, goalkeeper Brad Stuver sits joint-seventh in the list for most clean sheets in the league.
His six clean sheets from 18 games equals a 33.3% clean sheet record in 2022. In comparison, Stuver achieved only five clean sheets last season from 33 games, so he has already surpassed the record tallied in the club's inaugural MLS campaign.
Austin are on the rise in the Western Conference, and in truth, if it wasn’t for the stunning form of the side nobody can match right now, LAFC, they’d comfortably be sitting top of the table.
