Manchester United - Bayern München

Manchester United and Bayern Munich will once again face each other in a spectacular clash of the Champions League. The last time the two teams met in this tournament they both won their home games. However, with a aggregate score of 4-4, Bayern qualified, due to more away goals scored.

It is no secret to anyone that Manchester United is in rather poor form. They will have to play their strongest game this season, if they are to oppose to the German colossus. The Red Devils have their chances and David Moyes and Ryan Giggs have expressed optimism before this meeting. Giggs stated that even though the players are different, the traditions are the same and in a match of two football giants, there are no underdogs.

Pep Guardiola will not be able to rely on the suspended Dante and the injured Thiago, who is being superb this season. However, Bayern Munich, who are undefeated for nearly 4 months in all competitions remain an absolute favorite to reach the semifinals of the Champions League. However, quite a few times we have witnessed surprises in this tournament and should not rule out United.
