After last year's defeat by Bayern Munich at this stage of the tournament, Arsenal now get a chance for revenge. This time the situation is quite different as the Gunners demonstrate great football all season and are among the favorites to win the Premier League.

Many football experts state that at the moment Bayern Munich is the best team in the world and these claims are hardly devoid of logic. Bayern literally ran over their opponents in last season of the Champions League and now under the management of Pep Guardiola the team continue their good performance. In the Bundesliga, Bayern completely dominate and even so early they are almost sure the champions. This meeting, however, will never be easy for the guests, who will be without Franck Ribery.

Arsenal were outplayed at the Emirates losing go Bayern 1:3 at last year's knockout round. This time, however, in view of Londoners` performance so far, they seem to have much more serious chances for success. Nevertheless, for the entire past year, Bayern lost only 3 games. Furthermore, this season the team won 31 of their 35 matches. Therefore, a win for Arsenal will definitely be a great achievement for Wenger's team.
