Premier League Fantasy Football Picks – Round 16

Premier League Fantasy Football Picks – Round 16
3973

With the midweek fixtures coming to an end, you haven’t got long to make changes to your Fantasy Football team this week. Premier League action returns on Saturday, so let’s take a look at some in-form players that could make a difference for your team this weekend.

Goalkeeper

Martin Dubravka – Newcastle United

The Slovakian number one has been one of Newcastle’s standout performers this season. Dubravka made a number of impressive saves to help his side keep a clean sheet against Sheffield United last time out, and considering the Magpies face Southampton next, he seems like a great inclusion this week.

Defenders

Jonny Evans – Leicester City

The Foxes kept yet another clean sheet in the previous round and Brendan Rodger’s side possess the best defensive record in the division. Jonny Evans has played a huge role in maintaining Leicester’s solid backline, and has picked up plenty of points this season.

Martin Kelly – Crystal Palace

Injuries to some of Palace’s first-choice defenders have seen Martin Kelly enjoy a lengthy spell in the team. The Eagles have been strong at the back this term, and with the division’s lowest-scoring side (Watford) next up for Hodgson’s men, Kelly could be in line for a third straight clean sheet.

Midfielders

Leander Dendoncker – Wolverhampton Wanderers

The Belgian has featured in every Premier League game for Wolves this season and has been vital to the team’s rise up the table in recent weeks. Denconcker netted his first goal of the season in the previous round, while another clean sheet bonus further added to his points tally.

Sadio Mane - Liverpool

Sadio Mane is the highest-scoring midfielder in Fantasy Football this season. You’d be foolish not to include him in your team, especially when you consider Liverpool’s free-scoring unbeaten run, which has seen the Reds open up an eight-point lead at the top of the table.

Forwards

Gabriel Jesus – Manchester City

With Sergio Aguero still injured, Gabriel Jesus is a guaranteed starter this weekend. The Brazilian bagged a brilliant brace against Burnley in the previous round, so he will be heading into the Manchester derby full of confidence.

Neal Maupay – Brighton & Hove Albion

Maupay is Brighton’s leading scorer this season and appears to be adapting well to top-flight action following his step-up from the Championship. The Frenchman scored against Arsenal last time out, and is fantastic value for money in Fantasy Football.
