Juventus set to seal top spot in Group H

Italian giants Juventus have the chance to seal top spot in Group H of the Champions League on Wednesday night, as the Bianconeri host group bottom of the pile Young Boys.
Young Boys were always up against it in this group considering the quality of their three group counterparts. The Swiss side has struggled, picking up just one point from their five matches so far.
The home side has struggled for wins in the Champions League in recent seasons, winning just one of their last nine games in the competition, while suffering six defeats in the process.
Young Boys have even struggled for victories on their patch, winning just once in their last six home games in Europe’s elite competition. Considering the visitors, that poor home record looks unlikely to improve on Wednesday night.
Italian champions Juventus are two points ahead of second place Manchester United in the race to top the group. A win would be enough for the Bianconeri to finish as group winners, while a draw would suffice if United fails to beat Valencia at the Mestalla.
Max Allegri’s side’s recent record in Europe’s elite competition is a good one, as the away side has recorded five wins from their last six Champions League matches. The exception in that good run was a home defeat against Manchester United.
A big part of Juventus’ recent good results in this competition is their defensive record, as the Italian giants have kept clean sheets in four of their last five European outings.
The visitors have won their last five away games in the Champions League and they are also unbeaten in six on their travels. The Italian champions have also been prolific of late on their travels in this competition, scoring at least twice in four of their last five games.
