Dragons to roar in Ireland

On Tuesday night, the Republic of Ireland host Wales in the UEFA Nations League B, as the visitors attempt to stay in touch with Group 4 leaders Denmark.
The Republic of Ireland are in poor form heading into this clash, having won just once in their last eight international outings. Ireland’s recent games have been relatively tight, as there have been under 2.5 goals scored in ten of their last 13 outings.
Martin O’Neill’s side has failed to win either of their Nations League games so far, losing against Wales and last time out drawing against Denmark at home.
The home side’s recent record on home soil is not great, as they have claimed just three wins from nine games on their own patch. Ireland’s recent home games have been relatively low scoring, with under 2.5 goals scored in seven of their last ten outings.
Wales have a poor recent record in the international game, winning just once in their last five outings. The Dragons have enjoyed mixed fortunes in the UEFA Nations League, beating Ireland in the reverse fixture, while losing 2-0 against Denmark in their last game in this competition.
Last time out Ryan Giggs team suffered a 4-1 home defeat in a friendly game against Spain, which meant the visitors had suffered consecutive defeats in the international game.
The Dragons recent away record is patchy of late, although the visitors have won just one of their last four outings on home soil. A record of just three wins in their last 11 games on home soil is not an encouraging one.
The visitor’s recent away games have been low scoring, with seven of their last eight away games producing under 2.5 goals.
