Tottenham to continue hundred per cent record at Watford

On Sunday afternoon, Watford host Tottenham at Vicarage Road in the Premier League, as both teams look to continue their hundred per cent records in the top-flight this season.

Watford have made a stellar start to their top-flight campaign recording victories over Brighton, Burnley and Crystal Palace. The wins mean that the Hornets have now won four of their last five matches in the English top-flight.

The Hornets have also scored at least two goals in four of their last five games in the Premier League. However, there have been under 2.5 goals scored in five of their last eight top-flight games.

Watford have a strong recent home record in the Premier League, as the Hornets are four games unbeaten, having recorded wins in their last three league outings. They have also suffered just one defeat in their last ten home games in the top-flight.

The Hornets recent home games in the league have not been majorly high scoring. However, there have been over 2.5 goals scored in four of their last six home outings.

Like their hosts, Tottenham have won all three of their Premier League games so far this season. The side from north London have beaten Newcastle, Fulham and Manchester United so far this season, and dating back to last season, they have now recorded five straight victories in the top-flight.

Mauricio Pochettino’s side has also been potent in front of goal, scoring at least two goals in their last four top-flight outings.

Although Spurs have won just once in their last three away games on their travels, the visitors have won six of their last eight games on the road in the top-flight. Pochettino’s side has also scored twice in five of their last seven away games in the league.

Forebet predicts that Tottenham will continue their hundred per cent record in the top-flight by recording a victory in a high scoring encounter.
