Eagles to get back to winning ways against the Hornets
On Sunday afternoon, Watford host Crystal Palace at Vicarage Road in the Premier League, as the home side look to continue their hundred per cent record in the top-flight this season.
The Hornets have kicked off their top-flight campaign with a win against Brighton and last time out a 3-1 win at Burnley. Javi Gracia’s side has won three of their last four league matches, but those wins are their only victories in 11 outings.
The home side’s recent league games have been relatively low scoring, with under 2.5 goals scored in five of their last seven matches.
Watford have a decent recent home record in the Premier League, having lost just one of their last nine games in the top-flight while recording five victories. The Hornets have only failed to score in one of their last 15 league games at Vicarage Road.
Crystal Palace started their top-flight campaign with a win against Fulham. However, the Eagles suffered a 2-0 home defeat against Liverpool last time out after going down to ten men following the dismissal of young defender Aaron Wan-Bissaka.
The defeat to Liverpool is the Eagles only defeat in eight league outings, though. In fact, the loss against the Merseysiders ended a four-game winning run in the top-flight.
Roy Hodgson’s side has scored at least two goals in four of their last five outings in the top-flight. The Eagles have also kept four clean sheets in their last six outings in the Premier League.
Palace are five games unbeaten on their travels in the Premier League, recording three wins and two draws. Their recent away games in the league have been low scoring, with under 2.5 goals scored in four of their last five matches.
Forebet predicts that Crystal Palace will end the Hornets good start to the season by recording a victory in a high scoring game.
