Glenavon and Molde set for a draw in Europa League clash

On Wednesday night, Glenavon and Molde clash in the first qualifying round of the Europa League.

Northern Irish team Glenavon heads into this clash as massive underdogs to progress to the next round of the competition. However, Gary Hamilton’s side are on a run of eight games unbeaten, including four straight wins in pre-season friendly matches.

The home side has a terrible record in this competition, as they have lost all eight of their games in the UEFA Cup/Europa League. The Northern Irish side has also conceded at least two goals in their last six games in the competition.

Molde have a mixed record on their travels in the Europa League of late, winning just three of their last nine games on the road in the competition.

Glenavon may be underdogs in this clash, but Forebet predicts that the Northern Irish side will hold out for a goalless draw against the visitors.
