Hornets set to make things nervous for Terriers

On Saturday afternoon, relegation-threatened Huddersfield host Watford at the John Smiths Stadium in a game that could be vital at the bottom of the Premier League table.

Huddesfield’s recent form has been poor in the Premier League, as the Terriers have failed to win in their last five league games. The Yorkshire outfit has also won just two of their last 15 top-flight outings. Last time out David Wagner’s team drew 1-1 at Brighton.

The recent poor run of form has left the home side just four points above the relegation zone, with five games remaining.

The Terriers recent league games have been low scoring with under 2.5 goals scored in their last five league outings.

Picking up wins on home soil has been a major problem of late for the Yorkshire side, who have won just one of their last eight games in the top-flight. Wagner’s side has also failed to score in four of their last six home games in the Premier League.

Watford are currently 12th place in the Premier League table, nine points clear of the relegation zone. The Hornets look unlikely to be dragged into the relegation dogfight but may need another win just to secure their top-flight status for next season.

A poor run of form of late in the Premier League, including losing three of their last four games has been disappointing for the Hornets. Last time out the visitors suffered a 2-1 home defeat against Burnley.

A big contributory factor in the Hornets recent poor form has been the fact that they have conceded too many goals, as Javi Gracia’s side have conceded at least two goals in their last four league games.

Forebet predicts that the visitors will record a victory in a high scoring game to keep the home side looking over their shoulders nervously at the relegation zone.
