Salzburg to beat Lazio but exit the Europa League

Austrian team RB Salzburg have been one of the success stories of the Europa League this season. However, Marcel Rose’s side suffered a 4-2 defeat at Lazio in the quarter-final first leg last week.

The Austrian team have the chance to recover the tie against in-form Lazio on Thursday night in the second leg at the RB Arena.

Salzburg have a very respectable record in Europe’s secondary competition. The first leg defeat against the Italian side was the home side’s first in 16 outings in this competition.

A key factor in Salzburg’s recent good form in the Europa League is their attacking prowess, as they have scored two or more goals in four of their last five European outings.
